She’s alive!

 Well, it seems my heart was in the right place, but my procrastination won the battle!  I never really did get this blog off the ground 😂 After all these years, I am now going to attempt to revive this thing. 

A lot has changed since these entries. I’m remarried, have eleven grandkids now, a fur baby named KC, and now live in Rutherfordton, NC!  Oh, I’m also newly retired from teaching!  It’s so liberating!

My husband and I bought a lot and are getting it ready to build our forever home…a cabin in the woods. For now, we are living in our beautiful motor home, and are not rushing it. 

It’s been quite a feat getting this far; but, I have a very caring family that helped us get here. Stay tuned for our adventures!

Bringing back the blog!

Good morning!  As I get prepared for the year ahead (school year, yuk...lol), I need to get into the habit of blogging...so, I will get started with a fun one.

As most of you know, I am not only the mother of four boys...but, also the grandmother of seven (and soon to be eight!). I live in North Carolina now and so do five of my seven grand kids. For the past week and a half, I've also had the fun of having Evan (one of my two grandsons from Florida) staying here with me. We've enjoyed times at the pool, the park, playing with the cousins...blocks and trains and making sand art...

Tomorrow, we leave to Florida...road trip!  I'm looking forward to seeing family and friends and just relaxing by the shore. As much as I love my new home state, I miss the sound of the waves and watching the sun come up from the water and light up the sky!  So expect lots of pictures...

This is it! My very first blogging page...I'm so excited I don't know what to write. So...I'll just leave it at this and will come back when I'm not so tired and sleepy.
